Jason Dutton - Managing Director International
Jason Dutton has more than 18 years experience in the interactive entertainment industry. As MD International, Mr. Dutton is responsible for all commercial and marketing activity, product development and strategic growth in Europe.
Mr. Dutton’s previous roles have included European Communications Director at MicroProse, European Marketing Communications Director at Hasbro and Worldwide Director of Marketing at Static - where he directed the launch of the first digital interactive TV games channel in Europe.
Mr. Dutton has been involved in the creation and publishing of some of the industry’s best known franchises including BloodRayne, Geoff Crammond’s F1GP, Civilization, Worms, Falcon, X-com, Action Man and Star Trek.
Andy Luckett - Development Manager
Andrew Luckett got his start in the computer game industry in 1989 with a job at MicroProse’s European Head Office. Since then he has contributed to a huge amount of games, including several bestselling and critical hits. Among his best known games are the classics Grand Prix (1991) and X-COM (1994) from MicroProse, Pac Man and B17: The Mighty 8th from Hasbro Interactive (2000), and Majesty: The Northern Expansion and X-COM: Enforcer from Infogrames (2001).
After 5 years as Studio Head at Hothouse Creations, a game development firm established in 1996, he has moved into the role of Development Manager for Majesco Entertainment Europe.
John Merchant - Marketing Manager
John Merchant has extensive experience of both the movie and games industry. He started his marketing and PR career in 1994 at the legendary Rank Films working on such movies as the Shawshank Redemption, Wes Craven's New Nightmare, Striptease, Circle of Friends and To Die For. He then moved to Oscar winning production company Capitol Films working on movies such as Mad Cows, Ghost World, Beautiful Joe, and the Cannes winner Yi Yi.
In 2002, he moved over to the videogames industry to work at start-up BAM! Entertainment on movie properties such as Reign of Fire, The Recruit, Ecks vs Sever, A Sound of Thunder, as well as the critically acclaimed handheld version of Broken Sword. Prior to joining Majesco Europe, he helped release such acclaimed products as Irrational Games' Freedom Force Vs the Third Reich and Nadeo's Trackmania Sunrise.
